Episode 10: Blake Jorgenson

Blake Jorgenson is one of the world’s leading photographers for action sports and commercial photography. It’s no surprise that when he moved to Whistler, British Columbia, and it’s amazing access to outdoor activities and incredible natural beauty, he said “this is the place for me!”

Blake captures images for an extensive list of clients including Acura, Adidas, Columbia Sports, Eddie Bauer, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Nike, Oakley, Patagonia, RAM Trucks, Red Bull, Specialized, The North Face, and Under Armour. Not a bad list at all!

On this episode, Blake and I talk about some issues that all creative people ponder on a regular basis including, turning personal interests into a business, shifting styles to meet business needs while staying true to your art, and drawing inspiration from unique sources. We also talk about why Sour Blasters are one of the best candies in the world, but you’ll have to listen to the podcast if you want to hear that story!

To check out Blake’s work, please go to his website (www.blakejorgenson.com) or check out his instagram feed (@blakejorgenson). Thanks again Blake for coming on the show!
