Episode 9: Johanna Reynolds

I’m really pleased to be chatting with Toronto based painter and visual artist Johanna Reynolds on this episode. Johanna is a creator in the truest sense of word having experience as a painter, musician, gallery owner, and more.

Johanna is gaining a worldwide reputation of her artwork and she frequently turns to the natural world around her for inspiration. Johanna recently exhibited 12 paintings in Sweden for her first international solo show, titled Suspension, with Nordic Stories Contemporary Art. Johanna reached another professional milestone when Air Canada acquired four of her large works for their permanent collection. These pieces are installed along the Maple Leaf members lounge at LaGuardia airport in New York.

On this episode, Johanna and I talk about inspiration, creative responsibility and freedom and the joy that comes with collaborating with others who share a similar life view.

If you would like to look at Johanna’s incredible work or connect with her to ask questions or collaborate, the best way to do so is through her website (www.johannareynolds.ca) or through Instagram (@johanna_reynolds).
